missingWrote a review on Dec 04double bedbasic amenities
i had to stay two nights in a ‘deluxe’ room that had a double bed, not a queen. the historic charm is overshadowed by the lack of amenities—a balcony that anyone could use, i suppose? i almost wrote a good review, but had to settle for a basic room with no complimentary upgrades. VERY disappointing.

The gourmet dining during our stay was exceptional.
We faced significant disappointment with the room size. What was advertised as a deluxe experience felt basic at best, with only a double bed instead of a queen. Plus, I was looking forward to using the supposed private balcony, but it turned out to be shared by all guests, which was frustrating.

Our family enjoyed cozy evenings in the parlor, which was filled with books, board games, and a fireplace. We also loved the delicious gourmet meals, especially breakfast, highlighted by some of the best French toast we've ever tasted. Traveling with two teenagers felt effortless here.
My kids wished for more outdoor activities.

I absolutely loved the gourmet breakfasts! We had homemade bacon and some of the best French toast. The only downside was a shared balcony, not attached to our room. Still, can't wait to return! 😊

Gourmet Breakfasts and a Cozy Atmosphere
Our stay in the Deluxe Queen Room was incredibly comfortable, featuring a lovely corner perfect for unwinding. Breakfast was a standout, offering dishes like crab cakes and bacon-wrapped meatloaf – truly a gourmet experience! The owners' personal touch in service made our visit feel special, especially when we dined at the inn. If I could suggest anything, it would be to enhance the decor in the common areas to match the charm of the dining experience.
